Welcome

I’m Candice Hague, founder of Sea Horizons Counselling & Consulting.
I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (M.Ed., RCC) with over 20 years of experience in mental health, addiction, and education. I offer integrative counselling that supports your mental health and overall wellbeing through a holistic, person-centered approach.
Although I welcome all to my practice, I specialize in women’s mental health and wellbeing, with expertise in anxiety disorders, perfectionism, body image, disordered eating, eating disorders, substance use and addiction, and life transitions such as fertility issues, the perinatal and postnatal phases, perimenopause, and menopause. Many of these struggles often overlap with low self-worth, grief, stress, and relationship challenges — areas I’ve supported many clients through with compassion and clinical skill. While these are common themes in my practice, I also support clients with a wide range of other concerns, which you can explore in more detail in the list below.

Together, we’ll blend these approaches—including neuroscience and trauma-informed perspectives—to create a plan that aligns with your unique needs and goals.

Online Counselling
I offer online counselling to residents throughout British Columbia, with easy online booking through Jane App’s HIPAA-compliant platform, ensuring both privacy and convenience.
Whether you're at home, travelling, or simply prefer the comfort and privacy of your own space, virtual counselling provides a flexible and secure way to receive support. Phone sessions are also available, based on your level of comfort. To make counselling as accessible as possible, I offer day, evening, and weekend appointments.
